Jackson County Circuit Court:  A division of the State of Oregon Judicial Department, the Jackson County Circuit Court pages are a good source of contact information, court research, forms and more. This link will take you straight to the Family Help page.

 

Jackson County District Attorney's Office:  The DA's pages within Jackson County's website is a good source for local court contact information.

 

Oregon Department of Human Services:  The Oregon DHS website is an excellent source for information about child abuse, mental health, foster parenting, adoption, state rules and policies, family services, statistics, contact information and more.

Child Welfare Information Gateway:  Provided by the US Department of Health and Human Services, this site has an amazing amount of information about government programs and research on the prevention of child abuse. The site is also the location for information about the state & federally funded Oregon Child Welfare Equity Project.

National CASA Resources

Volunteer Support Library:  A well-organized site with volumes of articles and information about child abuse, advocacy, addiction and a multitude of subjects specifically geared toward helping CASAs in their volunteer efforts.

 

Audio Podcasts:  Audio files that can be listened to online or downloaded to your iPod, Smart Phone or MP3 Player. Subject are everything from training and expert guest speakers to stories from CASAs and grown kids that were helped by CASA

 

National Blog:  Similar to an online journal or magazine, "blog" is short for web log. The National CASA blog regularly posts information about what is going on with CASA throughout the country.
